NutriServe BOD Enhancer

NutriServe BOD Enhancer artificially increases the inherent BOD load in wastewater, kickstarting the biological treatment process in a safe and controlled manner. Supercharging the metabolic activity of beneficial microorganisms in your wastewater treatment system. This results in faster organic matter breakdown and more efficient pollutant removal.

  • Category: BOD Enhancer, Increase BOD level

NutriServe BOD Enhancer is a formulation for artificially increasing the inherent BOD load in an organically starved waste water stream. Microbes / Bacteria require a minimum BOD threshold for rapid multiplication & acclimatization during the commissioning of the wastewater treatment plant. Speed of plant commissioning is dependent upon how fast the existing baby microbes reach full grown stage in terms of age & acclimatization too. The multiplying microbes should reach full grown MLSS stage with a healthy MLSS to MLVSS ratio. When a particular wastewater (Sewage or effluent) is deficient in sufficient BOD load or experiencing low flowrates, at such times, sustaining the MLSS, multiplying them & commissioning a system becomes a challenge in itself.

  • Reduction in commissioning time of ETP & STP
  • Ensures consistent unchanging supply of essential BOD required for generating & sustaining MLSS
  • Rapid growth of MLSS with high MLVSS Content
  • Powdered form, Easy to use and easy to store
  • BOD Enhancer supplements useful bacteria within the ETP/STP
  • Shock load stabilization

Aerobic:

  • Aeration tanks
  • MBBR Tanks
  • Sequencing Batch Reactor(SBR)
  • Membrane Bio Reactor(MBR)
  • Rotating Biological Contactors(RBC)
  • Trickling Filters

Anaerobic:

  • Anaerobic Filter (AF)
  • Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB)
  • Continuously Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR)

When BOD/COD ratio is less than the ideal ratio of 1:2. If the BOD level is below 1, BOD enhancer should be added to enhance BOD. This will rapidly increase BOD/COD multiply microorganism population.

1 kg BOD enhancer gives 1.6kg BOD.

No. Actually, it will improve water quality.
